Williamsburg, VA-- The University
of Delaware men's soccer team lost to the College of William
and Mary Saturday night, 3-1, snapping a two-game winning
streak.
Blue Hen goalie Kyle Haynes played
impressively making seven saves in the first half. But the
Tribe offense proved to be too much for the freshman to
handle as William and Mary (5-3-1) took a 3-0 on a pair of
goals by Graham Albert.
Jeff Skinner tallied Delaware's
only score in the 65th minute from 30 yards out.
Haynes finished with a season-high eight
saves.
The Delaware (3-4) opens its final year
of conference play in America East at Towson Tuesday at 3:30
p.m.
