September 20, 2002 Gottesman's Goal Propels FDU
TEANECK, NJ -- Nadav Gottesman scored five minutes into the first overtime session to lift Fairleigh Dickinson men's soccer team past the University of Delaware Friday afternoon, 1-0. Tony Nylander and Mirza Rusevic registered assists on the goal, which came officially at 95:15. Freshman Ryan Edwards (Wilmington, DE/St. Mark's) and Ed Cwiek (Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge) led the Blue Hens with two shots each, while sophomore goalkeeper Kyle Haynes (St. Michael's, MD/St. Michael's) made six saves. The Blue Hens (1-3) return to action this Sunday when they play host to UMBC at Delaware Mini-Stadium.
