trick to lead George Mason over Delaware in CAA Men's Soccer

FAIRFAX, VA - Steve Alabi recorded his
first career hat trick to lead George Mason to a 4-0 victory
over Delaware in Colonial Athletic Association men's soccer
action Sunday in Fairfax, VA.
Alabi scored once midway the first half
to give the Patriots a 1-0 lead heading to halftime. He
struck again just 24 seconds into the second half, and
rounded out the day's scoring in the 79th minute.
Laszlo Juhasz scored the other goal for
George Mason, midway though the second half.
Sophomore goalkeeper Kyle Haynes
made five saves before giving way to Morgan Funsten
in the 64th minute. Funsten made three saves. John O'Hara
had three saves to garner the shutout for George Mason
(8-5-3/3-2-1 CAA).
The Patriots outshot the Blue Hens 19-8,
while each team had seven corner kicks.
Delaware (2-10-4, 0-5-2 CAA) returns to
action Tuesday when they host Georgetown in a non-conference
match. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
