Blue Hens Fall in
Season Finale
NEWARK, DE -- Georgetown scored
two second half goals to defeat the Delaware men's soccer
team 2-0 in the Blue Hens' final contest of the 2003 season
at Delaware Mini-Stadium.

Georgetown's Dan Gargan scored first for
Hoyas at 58:20 and Ricky Schramm notched an insurance goal
at 79:42.
In the third start of his career, senior
goalkeeper Morgan Funsten (King of Prussia, PA/Upper
Merion) made a career-high 12 saves. The 12 saves is
also a season-high for a Delaware goalkeeper.
Georgetown outshot the Blue Hens
24-9.
Delaware ended its season with a mark of
4-11-5 while Georgetown improved to 8-10-2 with the win.
