Blue Hens Fall for
Fourth Straight Time
NEWARK, DE -- Hofstra's Arni
Gunnarsson scored early in the first half to send the Pride
to a 1-0 CAA win over the University of Delaware men's
soccer team on Friday night at Delaware Mini-Stadium.
With the loss, Delaware fell to 3-10-5
(0-6-2 CAA) suffering its four straight conference loss and
Hofstra improved to 7-8-1 (3-3-1 CAA) and continued its
hopes of a post-season berth alive.

Gunnarsson registered the lone goal of
the game at 8:00 off a crossing pass from Michael
Todd.
Junior goalkeeper Kyle Haynes (St.
Michael's, MD/St. Michael's) made a save in each half, as
the Pride outshot the Blue Hens 8-6.
Delaware rounds up conference play as it
hosts Drexel on Sunday, November 2 at 1 p.m. at Delaware
Mini-Stadium.
