NEWARK, DE -- Members of the University of Delaware men's soccer team volunteered their time last week as part of the West Park Elementary School Health Fair Day.

The emphasis on the evening was to educate young children on taking more care of how they treat their bodies through proper nutrition and exercise.

"Sharon Collison and Kalia Reynolds did a fabulous job putting on a great evening for the kids of West Park," said Delaware head coach Ian Hennessy. "Inside the school were all kinds of activities educating kids on the importance of eating the rights foods and outside the Delaware players and I had a great time just playing with the kids. On the day, I think we helped send the right message and as always our players did a terrific job with these kids."
