BRONX, N.Y. - The University of Delaware men's soccer team fell to Fordham 1-0 on a goal by Alex Brunbauer late in the first half. He was assisted by Tim Richardson and Aaron Markowitz.

Blue Hen goalkeeper Conrad Rusnak saved three shots and allowed one goal in the loss for the Hens who fell to 0-2-1 on the year.

Abdul Faisal Alhassan-Chibsah took a team-high three shots for Delaware.

Head Coach Ian Hennessy said his young squad is still going through some growing pains.

"The group did very well in the second half, particularly E.J. Alvarado (at right) who was excellent," Hennessy said. "The team is still finding its feet but must quickly release that any mistakes at the back will be punished at this level. Hopefully we can grow and learn from this game."
