A native of Detroit, Keith Duncan begins his seventh season on the Delaware men's soccer coaching staff as a volunteer assistant for the 2009 season and is responsible for goalkeeper training.

Duncan graduated from Detroit Country Day School in 1984, where he played both soccer and ice hockey. He played one year of soccer and ice hockey at Division III St. Olaf College (Northfield, Minn.) before transferring to Division III Alma College (Alma, Minn.). Duncan graduated from Alma in 1988 where he was an all-conference goalkeeper and was co-captain of the squad as both a junior and senior.

He completed his undergraduate degree during an internship at Sydney University (Australia) and played with the local club squad. Duncan attended graduate school at the University of Georgia in Plant Pathology before being hired by DuPont as a biologist in 1990.

Prior to coming to Delaware, Duncan, 43, worked as an assistant and goalkeeper coach for Division II Wilmington College in 2001 and 2002, and trained goalkeepers for the Delaware Dynasty PDL franchise in 2006. He conducts personal training seminars for goalkeepers throughout the Delaware Valley and currently holds a NSCAA National Goalkeeping diploma.

Employed by DuPont as a scientist in plant cell biology, Duncan also received a master's degree in Science Education from the University of Delaware in 1999.

He holds dual US-Australian citizenship and resides in Hockessin, Del. with his wife, Ashlyn.
