Kyle Shilcock-Elliott scored the game's only goal with 6:24 left in the first overtime period as the University of Delaware mens' soccer team kept its playoff hopes alive with a 1-0 victory over host University of Maine.

The Blue Hens improved to 8-6-1, 4-4 America East, while Maine fell to 5-7-1, 1-4-1.

Dennis O'Connell sent a corner kick high into the box where Shilcock-Elliott headed in his second game-winning goal in as many games to give Delaware the 1-0 sudden death victory.

Delaware goalkeeper Joaquin Hurtado posted five saves to pick up the shutout victory. Maine's Mat Cosgrif stopped five shots for the Black Bears.
