At Delaware: 2008-09 Season: Ranked third on the team in both the 1,000-freestyle (10:08.27) and 1,650-free (16:19.27) • stood fourth on the squad in the 200-butterfly with a time of 1:58.92 and fifth in the 500-free (4:44.47) during the CAA meet • also competed in the 100- and 200-freestyle events.

High School: Stand-out swimmer at Canisius High School • team captain his senior year • most valuable player in 2007 and 2008 • owns seven high school records • earned All-American consideration for his time in the 200 free relay • also ran track his senior year.
