HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year tennis standout at Wheatley High School...played No. 2 singles his first three seasons and moved up to No. 1 spot as a senior...captain of team as a senior...earned all-county honors all four years and earned spot on All-State team his final three seasons.

AT DELAWARE: Second-year team member...will battle for spot in Delaware’s top six singles lineup as a sophomore...will also play doubles...2004-05: Enjoyed a solid freshman season as part-time member of singles lineup...posted a record of 8-3, including a 4-2 mark at the No. 6 spot...also went 3-2 in doubles with two different partners.

PERSONAL: Jonathan Ross Schwartz...born Aug. 13, 1986...son of Jayson and Beth Schwartz...has a younger brother...sport management major at Delaware...works as a tennis instructor during the summers....father played college tennis at the University of Pennsylvania in the early 1970’s.
