PRINCETON, NJ -- Junior Nolan Greenberg (right) lost his first-round match in the qualifying draw of the Wilson/Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northeast Regional on Thursday morning at Princeton, falling 6-1, 6-3 to Cornell's Jeremy Feldman.
Greenberg, the Blue Hens' No. 2 singles player, fell to 8-3 on the year.
Sophomore standout Austin Longacre, the Hens' only other regional representative, will face the No. 3 qualifier in the main draw Friday at 1 p.m.
Longacre and Greenberg will also compete in doubles, where they will take on Penn State's Joe Goldstein and Ben Scheuler at 8 a.m. Friday.
Both main draw singles finalists will qualify for the ITA National Indoor Championships in November, as will the winning doubles team.
The regional event closes out the fall season for the Delaware men, who have posted a 54-17 overall singles record and tied for first at the ECAC Open Invitational in September.
