BETHLEHEM, PA -- Junior Nolan Greenberg (right) and freshman Chris Hincker won their flights as the University of Delaware men's tennis team tied for the team title at the ECAC Men's Tennis Open, which concluded Sunday at Lehigh University.
Greenberg rolled past Lehigh's Troy List, 6-1, 6-1, in the Flight Two final, while Hincker won the first tourney of his career with a 7-6, 6-3 triumph over Fairfield's Chip Palumbo in the Flight Four championship.
Delaware matched Fairfield with 15 points in the ten-team, two-day event, as the Blue Hens were represented in three of four singles finals.
The Hens' top singles player, sophomore Austin Longacre, lost a three-set battle with Martin MacIntyre of Colgate in the Flight One final, while sophomore Sam Barrer fell to Fairfield's Ryan Berthod in his Flight Three semifinal.
The Blue Hens, who captured all four singles flights and both doubles divisions at last weekend's Swarthmore Invitational, have won 29 of 34 singles matches this season.
