Bucknell Downs Delaware 6-1 in Men's Tennis
NEWARK, DE -- The University of Delaware men's tennis team finally got its spring season started but lost to Bucknell 6-1 Saturday at the Delaware Field House Tennis Courts. The Bison swept the three doubles matches and won five of the six singles matches on the way to the win. Delaware, playing for the first time since November and coming off three postponed matches in the last week due to wet weather and darkness, fell to 5-3. T.K. Kelly, Steve Bomberger, Aaron Webster, Alex Dannin, and Alex Davydov all picked up singles victories for Bucknell. Delaware's lone win came at No. 6 singles where Jordan Reese (2-0) posted a 6-3, 6-0 win over Jacob Zelnick. The Blue Hens will return to action March 25 to host West Chester at 3:30 p.m.
