The University of Delaware men's tennis team won three out of four matches at the Towson University Tournament this weekend. The Blue Hens (5-1) defeated Loyola 5-0 and Johns Hopkins 3-2 on Friday before splitting a pair of matches with the host Tigers, losing 3-2 and winning 4-1, Saturday. Delaware's No. 1 player senior Ira Bernstein (Concord HS) went 3-1 for the weekend, improving to 5-1 on the season and 41-12 for his career. He became just the 10th player in UD history to reach 40 career singles wins. Also in singles, Michael Murray (Milford HS) went 3-1 at No. 2 singles, Jordan Biel went 1-2 at No. 3 singles, and Dave Mouber went 2-2 at No. 3 and No. 4 singles. In doubles play, the team of Clinton Cole and Sean Kelly posted a perfect 4-0 record for the weekend.
