NEWARK, DE -- The University of Delaware Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) had two projects this past fall, 2005, to help victims of Hurricane Katrina.

• Delaware athletes designed and produced t-shirts and sold them to student athletes this fall. The proceeds were donated to a family that was relocated to Reading, PA due to the loss of their home in New Orleans.

• SAAC also did a clothing drive and the proceeds are being sent to Tulane University to help the student and community population that was devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
