RICHMOND, VA -- A total of 103 University of Delaware student-athletes have been named to the Colonial Athletic Association Winter/Spring Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

Student-athletes who recorded a 3.2 or better grade point index for either the 2006-07 academic year or the 2007 spring semester were honored as were those who have compiled a cumulative 3.2 or better grade point index for their career.

The Winter/Spring list honors student athletes in the sports of men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s outdoor track and field, men’s golf, baseball, and softball. The CAA does not sponsor men’s and women’s indoor track and field and women’s rowing.

A total of 64 Delaware student-athletes were honored on the Fall Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll, bringing to 167 the total number of UD student-athletes honored this year. The total does not include members of the men’s and women’s indoor track and field, football, and women’s rowing teams. Football will join the CAA this fall.

The Blue Hen women’s outdoor track and field squad had the highest amount of student-athletes named to the team with 20 honored - equaling 42 percent of its roster.
