Dan Lauletta comes to Delaware for his first year after being named a Sports Information Intern in July 2010.
Lauletta serves as the primary media contact for the Blue Hen field hockey, volleyball, men’s and women’s swimming, rowing and baseball programs, and also assists on football game days.
Lauletta arrives at Delaware after spending one year as the Juniata College Assistant Sports Information Director, starting August 2009. While at Juniata, he served as the primary media contact for field hockey, men’s basketball, swimming and baseball, while assisting with football, men’s and women’s volleyball, and other sports as needed. He was also the video coordinator for all sports, producing game highlight packages for the athletic website.
Prior to his year at Juniata, Lauletta attended Elizabethtown College, earning his bachelor’s degree in mass communications in May 2009. While an undergraduate, he worked as the Sports Director in the student run campus television station, as well as a play-by-play radio announcer for a local AM sports radio station, announcing high school football and basketball.
Lauletta earned four letters for the Elizabethtown baseball team, and was a team captain as a senior in 2009.
Lauletta resides in Landenberg, Pa.
