Linda McCormick begins her 28th year at the University of Delaware, and her 23rd with the UD athletics program during the 2010-11 athletics season.

A native of Newark, Del., McCormick handles all clerical and administrative support for the Associate Athletic Director for External Relations, Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations, and the Men’s and Women’s Basketball programs.

In addition, she serves as event coordinator for basketball banquets and assists with hiring, training, and supervising student workers.

She joined the University of Delaware staff in 1975 and returned in 1988. She has worked with the UD media relations and basketball staffs since the 1991-92.

She has two children, Kevin and Cassandra, and four grandchildren. Kevin is a 2002 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and Cassandra is a 2004 graduate of Delaware.

Linda is single and currently resides in Odessa, Del.
