At Delaware: Competing for the starting catching job this season with Laurie Erickson...much improved during the off-season...2001: Appeared in 30 games as a freshman with 14 starts...committed just one error in 81 chances...had five hits and scored six runs in 43 at bats for .116 average.

High School: Two-time all-league choice at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bethesda, MD...three-time team Most Valuable Player and twice earned all-county honorable mention...played summer ball with the MVSA Storm for three seasons and Marylanders following her senior season as a catcher and outfielder...was also a three-year letterwinner in field hockey.

Personal: Ashley Elizabeth Green..born Dec. 21, 1981...daughter of Frank and Linda Green...communications major with minor in journalism at Delaware...works with ceramics as a hobby...works in the summer as a lifeguard at a local pool.
