At Delaware: Tri-captain...Delaware's career leader with 20 hits by pitches...solid middle infielder who has been a starter for most of her first three seasons...has started 122 of 133 career games...will probably start at third base for the Blue Hens this season...a career .227 hitter with 21 RBI...CoSIDA Academic All-American nominee.

2004 Season: Appeared in and started 52 games at second base for the Blue Hens...set a UD single-season record by getting hit by a pitch nine times...batted .206 with 26 hits, 10 runs scored, and six runs batted in...went 3-for-4 with a run scored in the 6-2 win over La Salle on March 13 and in the 4-2 victory over James Madison on May 14 on the second day of the CAA Tournament...was 2-for-4 with three runs scored in the 6-2 win over Bucknell on March 6...went 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI against Drexel on April 3...hit a triple in the 6-0 win over Towson on May 1.

2003 Season: Appeared in 41 games with 40 starts...hit .259 as a sophomore with a team-high 15 walks...recorded 30 hits, which was third-best on the team...went 4-for-4 with a double, triple and three RBI against Lehigh on March 26...had seven multiple hit games.

2002 Season: Appeared in 39 games with 29 starts as a rookie...hit .216 as a freshman with 10 runs scored...hit safely in all three CAA Tournament games (4-for-8).

High School: All-state and a four-time all-conference selection at Alma High School...team was ranked No. 9 in the state...four-year starter in softball and three-year starter in basketball...regarded as one of the top players in the state of Michigan...selected Mid-Michigan Scholar-Athlete.

Personal: Jennifer Bernice Gilkins...born May 10, 1983...daughter of Jim and Mary Gilkins...oldest of three children...honor student as a sport management major at Delaware with a minor in coaching science.
