Will see
action in the circle and at first base for
Delaware.
2004 Season:
Appeared in 12 games and started two in
the circle...threw 17.2 innings in nine
appearances...posted a 2.77 ERA, allowing
seven earned runs on 17 hits...allowed
just one hit while striking out five in
three scoreless innings of relief against
George Mason on April 17...did not allow
an earned run in four innings versus
Liberty on February 28...also threw one
scoreless inning in the 12-1 win over
Norfolk State on February 27...had six
official plate appearances and also worked
one walk.
High School:
Earned all-area honors each of the her
last three seasons at Kiski Area High
School outside of Pittsburgh...selected as
the area Player of the Year by several
newspapers...four-year letterwinner,
earning all-section honors each
year...struck out 28 batters in a
14-inning game as a senior...played for
the North American team in the Holland Cup
in the summer of 2002...set school records
for strikeouts in a season and
career...also an outstanding hitter who
batted .309 as a junior.
