2004: Appeared in 12 games and started two in the circle • threw 17.2 innings in nine appearances • posted a 2.77 ERA, allowing seven earned runs on 17 hits • allowed just one hit while striking out five in three scoreless innings of relief against George Mason on April 17 • did not allow an earned run in four innings versus Liberty on February 28 • also threw one scoreless inning in the 12-1 win over Norfolk State on February 27 • had six official plate appearances and also worked one walk.
High School: Earned all-area honors each of her last three seasons at Kiski Area High School • selected as the area Player of the Year by several newspapers • four-year letterwinner, earning all-section honors each year • struck out 28 batters in a 14-inning game as a senior • played for the North American team in the Holland Cup in the summer of 2002 • set school records for strikeouts in a season and career • also an outstanding hitter who batted .309 as a junior • honors student.
