At Delaware: Expected to start at second base for the Blue Hens • enters the season tied for fourth in school history with 72 runs batted in, fifth with 84 runs scored, tied for sixth with 17 stolen bases, seventh with 158 hits, tied for seventh with six home runs, tied for eighth with 10 triples, 15th with 469 at bats, and 18th with 155 games played.

2007: Batted .278 while appearing in all 45 games with 41 starts • tied for second on the team with 35 hits and tied for third with 21 runs scored • stole a team-high 11 bases, tied for sixth most in a single season at Delaware and tied for fourth in the CAA • recorded a 13-game hitting streak from March 24 through April 14, third longest in school history • was second on the team with nine multi-hit games • went 3 for 4 with three runs scored at Delaware State (3/28) • was 3 for 4 with a double, triple and two runs scored against Rider (4/11), and was 2 for 4 with a double, run scored and two RBI in the nightcap against the Broncs.

2006: Selected first team All Mid-Atlantic Region, first team All-CAA and UD Alumni Association Team MVP • named CAA Player of the Week on March 13 and March 27 • led the Blue Hens with a .382 batting average, 73 hits, 36 runs scored, seven triples and 105 total bases • set UD single-season records for hits and total bases, and tied the single-season runs mark • also set a school record by hitting in 15 straight games from April 5 through April 26 • recorded a team-high 21 multi-hit games and tied for the team lead with nine multi-RBI games • hit safely in 43 of 57 games • started a school record 57 games, all at second base • ranked 12th in the nation in triples per game • led the CAA in triples, ranked second in hits, and was third in batting average, on base percentage and total bases • went 4 for 4 against UMBC (3/8) and had three hits in a game seven times • hit an inside-the-park grand slam in the 4-3 win over Brown and had five RBI in the 9-1 victory over Norfolk State later that day (3/12).

2005: Named to All-CAA Second Team and to the CAA All-Rookie Team • also selected as the league’s Rookie of the Year • led Delaware with a .329 batting average, 50 hits, 30 runs batted in, 64 total bases, 31 walks, a .421 slugging percentage, and a .446 on base percentage • led the league in walks, ranked second in on base percentage, was fourth in batting average, and was sixth in runs batted in • started all 53 games at second base • tied for fourth on UD single season list in RBIs and tied for ninth in hits • led Delaware with 15 multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI games • batted .366 with runners in scoring position and .444 with the bases loaded • went 4-for-4 with four RBI at Bucknell (4/27) • was 2 for 4 with six RBI at Penn (3/16) • was 2-for-3 with five RBI against Rider (4/13) • hit a walkoff home run in the 10th inning of the 3-2 win over Drexel (4/16) • went 2 for 3 with three RBI against Villanova (4/20) • was 2 for 4 with a pair of RBI versus Elon (3/4) • hit a three-run triple in the victory over Binghamton (3/5).

High School: Four-year starter on the Fallston softball team, playing second base, catcher and shortstop • all-metro selection • led Fallston to the regional championship all four years and to the county title in each of her last three seasons • team won the Maryland State Class 3A Championship as a senior • also was an all-county selection and three-year starter in soccer and basketball, leading Fallston to the county championship in both sports • member of Distinguished Honor Roll, National Honor Society, and German National Honor Society.

Personal: Allison Marie Borchers • daughter of Wayne and Ann Borchers • has an older brother, Matt (23) • fitness management major at Delaware with a minor in strength and conditioning • aspires to go into the physical therapy field.
