At Delaware: Assistant captain • expected to start at shortstop for the Blue Hens • enters the season tied for fifth at Delaware with seven home runs, eighth with 68 runs batted in, and tied for eighth with 25 doubles.

2007: Second Team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection • led the Blue Hens with a .369 batting average, 52 hits, 24 runs scored, 14 doubles, four triples, 29 RBI, 80 total bases and 16 walks • ranked 22nd in Division I with 0.31 doubles per game • tied for fifth in a UD single season with 80 total bases, eighth with 29 RBI, and ninth with 52 hits • tied for second in the CAA with four triples, was third with a .369 batting average, fifth with a .437 on base percentage, and tied for seventh with 14 doubles • started all 45 games at shortstop for Delaware • led the Blue Hens with 13 multi-hit games and nine multi-RBI games • had an 11-game hit streak from April 6 through April 18 • went 3 for 3 with two runs scored, a double and a triple against UNC Wilmington (4/6) • was 3 for 4 with two RBI and two runs scored versus Rider (4/11) • went 3 for 4 with an RBI at Hofstra (4/21) • named to CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

2006: Started a school-record 57 games at shortstop • led the team and ranked fourth in the CAA with 39 RBI, the second highest total in a single-season at Delaware • also tied for second in a season with five home runs, tied for seventh with 11 doubles, ranked fourth with 174 at bats and ranked seventh with 77 total bases • was second on the Blue Hens with a .270 batting average and 24 walks • ranked second on the team with 11 multi-hit games and tied for the team lead with nine multi-RBI games • went 2 for 4 with a run scored and five RBI against St. Francis-NY (3/17) • was 2 for 4 with two runs scored and a grand slam at Rider (4/12) • went 2 for 4 with a run scored, double, home run and three RBI in her collegiate debut at East Carolina (3/3) • was 3 for 3 with a run scored and three RBI versus Bucknell (4/26) • also drove home three runs against George Mason (3/11) and UNC Wilmington (4/9).

High School: 2005 Gatorade State Player of the Year • Connecticut High School Coaches Association All-State selection last three years • named to New Haven Register and Connecticut Post All-State and All-Area teams all four years • New Haven Register MVP as a junior and senior and Connecticut Post MVP as a senior • selected to Hartford Courant All-Area team her last three seasons and named the 2005 Player of the Year • 2005 CHSCA State Player of the Year • Southwest Conference MVP last three years • led Lauralton Hall to a 93-6 record during her four years • led team to the state championship as a junior and senior and to the conference title her first three seasons • earned the SWC Leadership Award, the Ruth Pollard Boettcher Athletic Award in 2004, and the William H. Garfield Athletic Scholarship in 2005 • also earned four letters in volleyball and two in basketball • named to All-SWC volleyball team as a junior and senior • two-year captain of softball team and captained volleyball team as a senior • member of National Honor Society • student council representative and honor roll student all four years of high school • Freshmen Peer Mentor as a senior.

Personal: Kimberley Michelle "Kim" Ovittore ("ova-tour") • daughter of Thomas and Laura Ovittore • has a brother, Matt (22) • won a Women’s Major ASA National Championship over the summer while playing with the Stratford Brakettes • honor student as an exercise science major with in biology minor at Delaware • CoSIDA Academic All-American nominee • aspires to become a physical therapist • is a nationally registered and certified EMT.
