At Delaware: Expected to start in the Blue Hen outfield • could also see playing time at second base.

2008: Appeared in 30 games while starting 22 for Delaware • ranked third on the team with a .313 batting average • posted 21 hits, seven runs scored, four doubles and eight RBI • tied for fourth on the team with seven multi-hit games • went 3 for 4 with a double against UNC Wilmington (3/29) • was 2 for 3 with a run scored and an RBI versus Morgan State (3/9) • drove home two runs against Central Connecticut (3/15).

2007: Appeared in 37 games while starting 34 for the Blue Hens • batted .250 with 26 hits while ranking second on the team with 22 runs scored • recorded five doubles, six RBI and seven walks on the season • tied for eighth in the CAA with seven sacrifice bunts • went 3 for 3 with two runs scored against Lehigh (3/22) • was 3 for 5 with a pair of runs scored at Norfolk State (3/11) • went 2 for 4 with two runs scored, an RBI and a double versus UNC Wilmington (4/6) • was 2 for 3 with two doubles, two RBI and a run scored against Rider (4/11) • had a seven-game hitting streak from March 31 through April 11.

High School: All-Met honorable mention in 2005 and All-Met second team selection in 2006 • three-time All-League ISL selection • named team MVP her last three years • led Georgetown Visitation to the 2006 ISL Championship • earned two letters in softball and soccer • also started on the basketball team at Georgetown Visitation • Vice President of Booster Club • Retreat Ministry Senior Leader • earned Second Honor Roll honors as a junior and senior.

Personal: Cecile Danielle Egan • daughter of William & Michele Egan • has a brother, Kevin and a sister, Jessica • father played basketball for two years while mother played volleyball one season at Bridgewater College • fitness management major at Delaware with minors in strength and conditioning and coaching • visited family in France over the summer • aspires to become a physical therapist.
