2008: Appeared in 23 games while starting 21 for Delaware • batted .155 with nine hits, five runs scored, two doubles, nine RBI and seven walks • went 2 for 3 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI against Morgan State (3/9) • was 2 for 4 with three RBI versus Delaware State (3/14) • went 2 for 4 with two RBI versus Georgia State (3/21) and Rider (4/9) • went 0-1 with a 2.23 ERA in 12 appearances in the circle • allowed seven earned runs in 22 innings pitched • threw two scoreless innings against Central Connecticut (3/15) and Rider (4/9).

2007: Appeared in 44 games while starting 43 for Delaware • batted .215 while ranking fifth on the team with 28 hits • led the team with three home runs and ranked second with 19 RBI • went 3 for 4 with two RBI, a double and a run scored at Drexel (3/25) • was 2 for 3 with a run scored and five RBI at Delaware State (3/28) • had five two-hit games on the year • went 2-2 with a 2.52 ERA in 13 appearances in the circle • allowed 19 runs, 12 earned, in 33.1 innings of work • threw a one-hit shutout at Delaware State (3/28) • named CAA Pitcher of the Week on April 9 after allowing one earned run in 6.1 innings of relief in the three-game sweep of UNC Wilmington, picking up a win and a save against the Seahawks.

High School: Three-year starter as a pitcher at Great Valley High School • earned first team all-conference and all-area honors in 2004 and 2006 • was a second team all-conference selection in 2003 • served as team captain as a senior • high honor roll student as a junior and senior.

Personal: Michelle Claire Kenney • daughter of Robert and Deborah Kenney • has a brother, Robert and a sister, Stefanie • Stefanie was a four-year starter in softball at CAA rival Hofstra and is UD’s current assistant coach • psychology major at Delaware with a minor in black American studies.
