At Delaware: Will challenge for playing time at third base or at designated player for the Blue Hens.

2008: Appeared in 23 games while starting seven for Delaware • batted .270 with 10 hits, seven RBI and a home run • hit a grand slam against Delaware State (3/14) • was 2 for 2 with an RBI versus Central Connecticut (3/15) • went 2 for 4 in the first game of a doubleheader with UMBC (4/30), and was 2 for 3 with two RBI in the nightcap.

2007: Batted .417 while appearing in 32 games with 15 starts • recorded 25 hits and ranked third on the team with 14 RBI • went 4 for 4 with a double and four RBI in her UD debut against Binghamton (3/2) • was 3 for 4 with two RBI at Norfolk State (3/11) • had two hits against Marist (3/10) and Pennsylvania (3/14) • named CAA Rookie of the Week on March 7.

High School: Four-year starter at Penns Grove High School • three-time Salem Sunbeam Player of the Year • named second team South Jersey Group I as a sophomore and to the first team as a junior and senior • selected second team Tri-County Conference as a sophomore and to the first team as a junior and senior • participated in Senior All-Star Game and Carpenter Cup • earned Coach’s MVP award • selected to All-Area All-Star team • captained team as a junior and senior • led Penns Grove to the NJSIAA South Jersey Group I semifinals in 2005 • also competed in the shot put for the Penns Grove winter track team • finished second in the state relay and sixth in the state individuals • was a Meet of Champions participant • earned Coach’s MVP • served as throwing captain.

Personal: Mary Ann Magee • daughter of Howard John Jr. and Marianne Magee • has a brother, Daniel • fitness management major at Delaware with a minor in strength and conditioning • aspires to become a physical therapist • studied abroad in China last summer and attended the Olympics.
