Hartford 2, Delaware 0 (8) Hartford 4, Delaware 0 Mark effort goes for naught Lauren Mark no-hit Hartford for seven innings NEWARK, DE -- Behind strong pitching from Andi Miller and Liz Nadeau, University of Hartford swept an America East softball doubleheader, 2-0 and 4-0, over University of Delaware Sunday afternoon at Delaware Field. Miller outduels Lauren Mark in the opener and held the Blue Hens (7-8, 1-3) at bay for eight innings. She struck out four and walked two in evening her record at 2-2 this season. She allowed just two hits, a pair of first inning doubles. Mark, who has had to resort to pitching from her normal outfield role due to injuries, had a no-hitter through seven innings. However, the Hawks pushed across two unearned runs in the top of the eighth for the win. In the nightcap, Nadeau shut the Blue Hens out on five hits to give the Hawks (5-3, 3-1) a twinbill sweep. She walked two and struck out five in raising her record to 3-1 this season. In a losing effort, Mark had a hit in each game to achieve yet another milestone. The Ursuline Academy graduate became the fifth Blue Hen to record 150 career hits. She is 39 behind all-time leader Lauren Baugher's total of 189.
