Army 10, Delaware 1 Army at Delaware - Game 2 PPD (Rain, Ice) March 17, 2002   NEWARK, DE -- Army scored five runs in each of the last two innings to snap a three-game losing skid and defeat Delaware, 10-1, in non-conference softball action Sunday afternoon. The second game of the scheduled doubleheader was postponed due to a wintry mix that the teams played through for the last three innings of the first game. Delaware took a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning when Randi Isaacs and Amanda Cariello opened the inning with back-to-back doubles. That lead held until the sixth inning when the Cadets exploded for five runs. Lisa Huntington gave Army the lead for good with a two run single to right. Cariello appeared to be on her way to pitching out of the inning until Lindsay March ripped a two-run triple to center with two outs that gave Army a 5-1 lead. The Cadets used two hits and six walks and a hit batter by reliever Jenn Joseph to score five more runs in the top of the seventh. Shauna Evans pitched the first six innings to pick up her third win of the season (3-1). Cariello dropped to 3-5 despite allowing just two earned runs.
