NEWARK, DE - The University of Delaware downed Drexel, 3-1 (15-10, 15-9, 11-15, 15-5), in women's volleyball, Sunday at the Bob Carpenter Center.

Delaware (8-15, 3-4 America East) was led by Jennifer Wanner, who had 18 kills and seven blocks. Joanna Dusza added 16 kills and 16 digs, while Margaret Lapinski had 10 kills and 11 digs.

Drexel (9-16, 1-6 America East) had strong performances from Courtney Krumrine, who finished with 28 kills and eight digs, and Jenny Gorecki, who had 11 kills in the losing effort.

Delaware has now completed round one of the double round-robin conference season. The Hens will return to action Wednesday, when they travel to LaSalle for a 7 p.m. start. The Hens will resume conference play Saturday as they travel to Northeastern for a 4 p.m. match.
