October 16, 1999 ORONO, ME - Margaret Lapinski (Wilmington, DE/Brandywine) recorded nine kills and added four digs to lead the University of Delaware volleyball team (7-12, 2-1) past Maine, 3-0 (15-1, 15-1, 15-2), in Orono Saturday afternoon. Sadie Bjornstad led the Blue Hens with 22 assists, and Amy Carroll notched five kills and three aces as Delaware spoiled Maine's first home match since the program disbanded 15 years ago. The three-game match took just 55 minutes. Cameo Neeman recorded four kills and Jen Mack added four digs for the Blue Hens. Dana Haeger and Kristi Carver each notched two kills for the Black Bears (0-10, 0-3). Delaware returns to action Sunday afternoon when it travels to New Hampshire for a 1 p.m. start.
