COLLEGE PARK, MD - The University of Delaware volleyball team was unsuccessful this weekend in competition at the Maryland Invitational. The Hens dropped two matches on Saturday, falling to Georgetown, 3-0 (9-15, 3-15, 13-15), and to University of San Diego, 3-1 (3-15, 15-11, 8-15,10-15). Delaware (2-9) has now lost seven in a row, matching the team record which was set in 1996. The Hens were led by Jennifer Wanner, who had 13 kills and 12 digs against Georgetown and 12 kills and 12 digs against San Diego. Cameo Neeman added 15 kills and Jessica Bradosky added 12 kills and 18 digs, both in the San Diego match. Delaware will next take the court Wednesday at Villanova at 7 p.m.
