NEWARK, DE - The University of
Delaware volleyball team dropped its match with
Northeastern, 3-0 (15-13, 15-11, 15-6), Sunday.
Delaware (6-12, 1-1 America East) was led
by junior Jennifer Wanner, who compiled 11 kills on
33 attacks, and eight digs. Captain Joanna Dusza
added 12 digs in the losing effort.
Northeastern was led by birthday girl and
last week's America East Rookie of the Week, Lindsay Wagner,
who had 14 kills and 12 digs.
Delaware is now 6-12 on the season, 1-1
in the America East. The Hens will be on the road next
weekend, Saturday at Maine and Sunday at New Hampshire. The
Hens will return home on Saturday, October 23, when they
host Hofstra at 1:00 p.m.
