High School: Named all-state as a senior and all-county in each of her last two seasons • captained team as a junior and senior • earned Most Valuable Player award from the Coaches’ Association • led South Side to the conference, division, county and Long Island championships, and to the state semifinals • also ran in the county tournament for three years for the South Side track and field team • member of National Honor Society • class representative for student government • made honor roll in every semester • received International Baccalaureate Diploma.
