At Delaware: Will serve as the starting setter for the second straight year • enters her junior season ranked 10th on the program's all-time career assists list with 1,197.

2008: One of only two players to start all 35 matches along with Paige Erickson • joined Nikki Brassell as the only Blue Hens in team history to post 1,000 assists in their sophomore campaigns • led the CAA with 1,168 assists and ranked third with a 9.12 assists-per-set average • posted a career-high 59 assists in the CAA Championship match against Northeastern • also tied her career-high with 16 digs against the Huskies • named the Most Outstanding Performer of the Tournament and garnered national Top Performer honors from Collegiate Volleyball Update for her efforts • eclipsed the 40-assist plateau nine times • led the team and finished second in the CAA with 13 double-doubles • recorded three straight in a seven-day stretch against James Madison, George Mason, and UNC Wilmington from October 17-24 • her 66 kills during the season were the most by the team’s primary setter since Sadie Bjornstad had 109 in 1999 • notched a season-best seven kills against Towson on October 10 • her total was the highest in a single match by a Blue Hen setter since Allison Lutz also had seven against Villanova in 2004 • CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American nominee.

2007: Appeared in 29 matches, including the final 25 contests of the season • finished second among Blue Hen freshmen in aces (18), assists (29), and digs (161) • her six aces against Alcorn State were the most in the conference by a freshman and tied for the third most by any player in a single-match • also posted a career-high 11 assists on just 12 attempts against Alcorn State • had 10 or more digs in five matches, including three straight conference contests from Sept. 29 – Oct. 6 • selected to the CAA Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Named to MECA 6 All-Conference Team all four years • 2006 conference player of the year • four-year starter and team captain at Cabarrus • earned Carolina All-Region honors in each of her last three seasons • Student Body President • member of BETA Club, Mu Alpha Theta, and National Honor Society • named Homecoming Queen. Club Team: Piedmont Volleyball Club.

Personal: Jessica Chason • daughter of Don and Patti Chason • her father played football at Western Carolina University from 1979-82 • has a brother, Kyle, who attends North Carolina State • business major at Delaware.
