Jennifer Wanner posted 16 kills

NEWARK, DE -- Senior Jennifer Wanner recorded match-highs of 16 kills and six blocks to lead the University of Delaware volleyball team over the University of Hartford, 3-1 (15-11, 7-15, 15-11, 15-3), Saturday afternoon at Barbara Viera Court.

Cameo Neeman posted 10 kills and four digs, and Allison Hunter added 46 assists and eight digs for the Blue Hens (14-15, 7-6 America East), who pulled to within a half-game of Towson for the fourth and final spot in the America East Tournament.

Marisa Vino led Hartford (6-17, 2-11) with 13 kills and 15 digs, and Kristy Ruffner added 14 kills.

After splitting the first two games, Delaware came back from an early deficit to win the third game, and scored the first 11 points of the fourth game to clinch the victory.

Delaware will continue conference action on Sunday when the Blue Hens host Hofstra at 1 p.m.
