Jennifer Wanner had 6 kills for Delaware

NEWARK, DE -- Jennifer Wanner posted six kills and four blocks to lead the University of Delaware volleyball team to a 3-0 (15-6, 15-3, 15-5) win over LaSalle University Tuesday night at Barbara Viera Court.

Seniors Margaret Lapinski and Heather Ness each recorded five kills, and freshman Liz Ommundsen added four kills to lead the Delaware attack.

America East Rookie of the Week Allison Hunter notched 19 assists and three digs for the Blue Hens (9-11).

LaSalle (10-10) was led by Kristin Russo, who had five kills and three assists.

Delaware returns to action Friday when the Blue Hens host conference foe New Hampshire at 7 p.m. at Barbara Viera Court.
