St. Louis 3, Delaware 0 Delaware 3, Austin Peay 1 (Butler UniversityTournament) September 1, 2001 Neeman Has Two Big Games to Aid Blue Hen Split   Cameo Neeman had 20 kills in the win over Austin Peay INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The University of Delaware volleyball team picked up its first victory of the season Saturday afternoon as the Blue Hens downed Austin Peay 3-1 after falling to St. Louis University 3-0 in the second and final day of the DoubleTree/Butler University Invitational at Hinkle Fieldhouse. The Blue Hens (1-2) opened the day with a 3-0 loss to St. Louis, falling by scores of 30-20, 30-23, 30-25, and followed with their first win of the season, a 3-1 (23-30, 30-27, 30-24, 30-27) win over Austin Peay. Delaware will return to action for its home opener Tuesday, Sept. 4 vs. Maryland-Eastern Shore. In the first match of the day, St. Louis (1-1) got 12 kills and 16 digs from Colleen Hunter to post the three-set victory. Delaware senior Cameo Neeman (Ursuline/Wilmington, DE) led the Hens with a team-high 11 kills and seven blocks while sophomore Allison Hunter (Layton/Sandy, UT) added 13 assists, 10 digs, and four blocks. The Hens followed with their first win of the season over Austin Peay, getting a balanced attack. Neeman again led the way with 20 kills, eight digs, and seven blocks while Hunter had 32 assists and nine digs. Freshman Kristin Brooks (Laguna Hills/Laguna Hills, CA) added 13 kills and 14 digs while freshman Nicole Stuka (Hart/Saugus, CA) chipped in with 11 kills and a team-high 17 digs. Austin Peay got 10 kills each from Sarah Schramka and Julie Burkhalter with Burkhalter adding a team-high 21 digs.
