November 2, 2002 Patriots Sweep Blue Hens in CAA Action NEWARK, DE -- The University of Delaware volleyball team lost to Colonial Athletic Association rival George Mason Saturday night, 3-0, at John Linn Gym in Fairfax, VA. The Patriots (17-7, 11-2) took game one, 30-27, game two, 30-28, and game three, 30-19. With the loss, the Blue Hens fall to 6-7 in conference play and 9-15 overall. Junior Liz Ommundsen (Northport, NY) and freshman Jennifer Daniels (Lakewood, CA) each posted 10 kills for Delaware, while junior Allison Hunter (Sandy, UT) registered 27 assists. George Mason received 19 kills from Aline Pereira and 12 from Shelbylynn McBride.
