Delaware 3,LaSalle 2 October 15, 2002 Ommundsen, Stuka Leads Blue Hens NEWARK, DE -- Junior Liz Ommundsen (Northport, Ny/Northport) recorded a career-high 23 kills and added 14 digs to propel the University of Delaware volleyball team to its second-straight win, a 3-2 decision over LaSalle in Philadelphia, PA Tuesday evening. The Blue Hens (5-12, 3-5) rallied from a two games to one deficit to win game four, 30-27, and game five, 15-7. Sophomore Valerie Murphy (Round Hill, VA/Loudoun Valley) posted 16 kills for the Blue Hens, while sophomore Nicole Stuka (Saugus, CA/Hart) notched 13 and freshman Niecy Taylor (Albuquerque, NM/Cibola) registered 11. LaSalle posted five players in double figures in kills, led by Lindsey Viehmann with 16. The win marks only the second time this season that the Blue Hens have won consecutive games. The Blue Hens return to action Friday, October 18, when they return to Pennsylvania to take on the Drexel Dragons. Match time is set for 5 p.m. AGATE:
