NEWARK, Del. - Prior to the team's first home match of the season against New Hampshire, the University of Delaware honored the incredible achievements of the 2007 Blue Hen volleyball team with the unveiling of the program’s championship banners.

Last season, Delaware captured its first Colonial Athletic Association title and earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament. Making their first appearance on the national stage, the Blue Hens topped Princeton in the first round before falling in a closely-contested 3-1 match to No. 18 St. John’s. With that performance, Delaware became the first team from the CAA to win a set in the second round without the benefit of a first-round bye.

Last year’s accomplishments will live-on in these banners, which will serve as a permanent reminder of the indelible mark left by the 2007 University of Delaware volleyball team.
