STORRS, CT -- The Delaware volleyball team gained a split in Day 2 of the UConn Invitational, defeating Florida Atlantic, 3-0, and falling to Murray State, 3-0. The Blue Hens opened the day by defeating Florida Atlantic, 17-15, 15-11, 15-8. Jennifer Wanner had 17 kills to lead the Blue Hens to the sweep. In their afternoon match, the Blue Hens fell to Murray State, 15-10, 15-12, 15-7, missing on a chance for a berth in the championship match. Wanner again led the way for Delaware with 17 kills. However, it was not enough to offset Murray State's balanced attack, which was led by Krista Shumard's 11 kills.
