guard or small forward...earned America
East All-Rookie team honors as a freshman
in 1997-98, just missing league Rookie of
the Year honors...led team in scoring
(13.3 ppg; 8th in America East), assists
(60), steals (45), and minutes played
(34.6 per game), and ranked third in
rebounding (5.5 rpg)...has good moves
around the basket...set UD freshman
records for points in a season (358) and
in a game twice (29 vs. Delaware State; 34
at home vs. Northeastern)....scored 20 or
more points in a game four times and had
season-high 11 rebounds vs. James
Madison... enjoyed outstanding career at
Oakton HS where she was ranked as the
fourth best senior in Virginia...named to
Street & Smith's honorable mention
All-American team...scored a school-record
1,235 points and averaged 16.5 ppg and 8
rpg as a senior and 15.5 ppg and 8 rpg as
a junior...first team All-State and Region
Player of the Year in 1996-97...three-time

scoring (10.6 ppg), second in assists (54,
2.0 apg), second in steals (39), third in
three-pointers (7), and fourth in
rebounding (4.4 per game)...shot 79.4
percent from the foul line to lead team
and set UD freshman record...came on late
in the season, scoring 23 points vs. Maine
Feb. 8 and 23 points vs. Boston University
Feb. 21...also pulled 12 rebounds in the
game vs. Boston University...had
season-high six assists vs.
Northeastern... three-year starter at
August Martin HS where she scored over
1,000 career points and led team to three
city titles...averaged 18 ppg, 5.0 rpg,
and 6.0 apg as a senior when she led team
to 26-1 record and state runner-up finish
and was named first team
All-City...averaged 15 ppg as a junior in
1995-96 when team went 24-1 and lost in
state quarterfinals...member of Guyana
National Team that played in Central
America Tournament and in Jamaica the last
two summers....English major at
Delaware.

force as a rebounder and shot blocker in
the middle for Blue Hens...has improved
scoring...played first season at Delaware
last season after transferring from Ohio
University...led America East and ranked
19th in the NCAA in blocked shots (56 for
2.1 blpg average; 2nd highest season total
in UD history), led team in rebounding
(7.4 rpg; 7th in America East) and field
goal pct. (.498), and was second in
scoring (11.1 ppg)...also shot 69.2
percent from the foul line...scored in
double figures 14 times, including 9 times
in the final 13 games, with high of 21 at
home vs. Maine...had four
double-doubles...had season-high six
blocked shots vs. Vermont (Jan.
18)...played 1995-96 season at Ohio
University where she scored 20 points (1.1
ppg) and pulled 14 rebounds (0.8 rpg) in
18 games as a backup...averaged 16.5 ppg,
12 rpg, and 5 blocks per game as a senior
at Slippery Rock HS...played junior season

missing all but two games last season with

nine rebounds vs. James Madison before
suffering injury in practice...retained
freshman eligibility...moved into starting
center spot at mid-season of freshman year
in 1996-97 and started 18 games...averaged
5.5 ppg and was third on team with 4.5
rebounds per game...led team and ranked
ninth in AMERICA EAST with 20 blocks (0.8
blpg)...had top two games vs. Boston
University, scoring 17 points with 11
rebounds during the regular season and
adding 14 points and 12 rebounds in
tournament play-in win...one of the top
players in Lebanon County history at
Eastern Lebanon County HS...scored 1,307
career points and set school records with
872 rebounds and 185 blocked
shots...averaged 16 ppg and 10 rpg as a

shot 52.2 percent from the
field...struggled at the foul line,
hitting just 28 percent (14 of 50)...had
best game at home vs. Drexel with 10
points and15 rebounds...one of the most
highly-touted recruits in recent Delaware
history...earned Street & Smith's
honorable mention All-American honors as a
senior when she was named one of the top
40 seniors in the nation by
Nike/WBCA...two-time All-State pick,
two-time District 10 Player of the Year,
and three-time All-conference
selection...set Oil City HS records for
career points (1,346) and rebounds
(1,213)...averaged 18.5 ppg and 16.5 rpg
as a senior when she led team to 24-3
record and district runner-up spot...also
a two-time All-State volleyball

member of squad as a walk-on...proved to
be a valuable addition last season after
joining team midway through pre-season
drills...good ball-handler who averaged
9.7 minutes in 18 games...scored 13 points
(0.7), dished out 19 assists (1.1 apg),
and pulled 11 rebounds (0.6 rpg)...had
four assists vs. Delaware State....enjoyed
an outstanding career at Central Bucks
West High School where she was a four-year
starting point guard and a four-time
All-Suburban One performer...earned
honorable mention All-State honors as a
junior...scored 1,059 career points to go
with 500 assists and 400 steals...was
first guard to score 1,000 points in
school history and also set school records
for three-pointers in a game, season, and
career (100)...team won two conference
titles and advanced to state tournament
her sophomore year...also played tennis
and ran track...accounting major at

of season knee injury....enjoyed a

(4.9 apg)...team tri-captain in 1997-98
when she averaged 4.8 ppg, dished out 155
assists (5.7 per game; 5th in Big East),
and led team in three-point shooting
(.327)...had career highs of 21 points
(Rider) and 12 assists
