Season: Started all 29 games as
Delaware's leading scorer (15.6 ppg) and
rebounder (6.9 rpg)...Second Team All-CAA
pick in 2003-04 after ranking fourth in
CAA scoring and seventh among rebounding
leaders...scored a career-high 31 points
and grabbed 11 rebounds versus George
Mason on January 22... has played in 88
consecutive games in her career since her
first action in her freshman year...scored
her 1,000 career point versus George Mason
(3/4)...tournament MVP of the Coca-Cola
Classic hosted by Fairfield...
2002-03
Season: Second-team All-CAA selection
in first season as a starter...started all
31 games during the season...also named to
all-tournament teams at CAA Tournament and
at Dartmouth Tournament...ranked sixth in
the CAA in rebounding (team-high 6.4 rpg)
and 10th in scoring (13.1 ppg, second on
team), and was one of just four players in
the league to rank in the top 10 in both
categories...only player in the CAA to
rank in the top 10 in scoring, rebounding,
blocked shots, free throw percentage, and
field goal percentage...had her best game
of the season in Delaware's first round
WNIT loss to Saint Joseph's when she had
21 points and 14 rebounds, shooting
10-for-14 from the floor in 39 minutes of
action...played more minutes than any
other Blue Hen (1045 total, 33.7
mpg)...selected to CAA All-Tournament team
after averaging 11.3 ppg and 7.0 rpg in
three tournament games...posted a
then-career high 21 points at Virginia
Commonwealth (1/9)...recorded seven
double-doubles, including a 15-point,
16-rebound effort against James Madison
(1/30)...finished fourth in CAA in free
throw percentage (.811) and was fifth in
field goal percentage (.504)...field goal
percentage of 50.4 percent was the
fifth-best single-season percentage in UD
history...had a career-high seven steals
vs. Towson (3/6)...sank two free throws
with 3.1 seconds remaining in 62-60
overtime win over William & Mary

2001-02
Season: Appeared in all 30 games with
five starts as a freshman...scored in
double-figures seven times (UD went
6-1)...second on the team in rebounding
(5.5 rpg) and added 6.0 points per
game...averaged 21 minutes per
contest...tied a then- career high with 13
points and grabbed five rebounds in
Delaware's WNIT first round loss at George
Washington (3/13)...recorded first
collegiate double-double (10 points, 12
rebounds) in her first start (12/18 vs. La
Salle)...grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked
three shots against Hofstra
(12/29)...scored a season-high 13 points
while shooting 9 of 10 from the line in a
home win over Towson (2/7).

Co-Player of the Year as a senior at
nearby Caravel Academy...was the first
recruit from the state of Delaware to sign
during the early period with University of
Delaware since 1995...honor student at
Caravel...also a four-year letterwinner on
Caravel's volleyball team as a middle
hitter and outside hitter.

Tiara Patrice Malcom (pronounced
TEE-air-uh)...born January 24, 1983 in
Camp Springs, MD...daughter of Tyrone and
Robin Malcom...majoring in criminal
justice with a minor in sociology...would
like to work for the Drug Enforcement
Agency after graduation.
