NEWARK, Del. -- Individual game tickets for University of Delaware men’s and women’s home basketball games will go on sale Wednesday.

Tickets in the center sections on each side of the court (sections 7, 8, 17 and 18) cost $15 for men’s games, while all other chairback seats (sections 15, 16, 19 and 20) cost $13. Bench seats on the south side of the floor (sections 5, 6, 9 and 10) and all end zone seats (sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 11, 12, 13 and 14) each cost $11. Youth bench seats (17 years and younger) are just $7.

All adult tickets for Blue Hen women’s games cost $9, while all youth tickets cost $6.

The Delaware men’s team will play 15 games at the Bob Carpenter Center this season, including a season-opening home game against Big East opponent Rutgers on Sunday, November 16. The UD women’s squad will play 12 games at the BCC in 2008-09, and will also open at home on November 16 when the Blue Hens host Columbia at 12 noon.

Season tickets are also currently on sale for both Blue Hen teams. Center section seats for men’s games cost $210, while all other chairback seats cost $182. Bench seats on the south side of the court are $139 for the general public and $123 for UD employees, senior citizens and recent alumni. Family four packs are also available in sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 for $160.

Delaware women’s basketball season tickets cost $94 for all sections for the general public and $74 for UD employees, senior citizens and recent alumni. Family four packs are available for $150.

Men’s and women’s combination season tickets in the center sections cost $255, while all other chairback seats cost $232 for the general public and $174 for senior citizens and recent alumni. Wing bench seats are $196 for the general public and $174 for senior citizens and recent alumni.

Individual game tickets can be purchased in person at the Bob Carpenter Center Ticket Office on Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Trabant University Center Ticket Office on Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
