NEWARK, Del. -- University of Delaware Employee Nights at the Bob Carpenter Center, featuring free tickets for UD employees, have been announced for two Blue Hen basketball games.

Free tickets will be available to employees for the UD men's basketball game against William & Mary at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 6, and for the women's basketball game against Towson at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28.

Tickets for employees will be available beginning at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 1, exclusively at the box offices of the Trabant University Center and the Bob Carpenter Center. Tickets will remain available for the men's game until Tuesday, Jan. 5 at 12 noon and until Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 12 noon for the women's game.

Tickets are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. There is a limit of four tickets per employee with UD identification.

The women’s game will be sponsored by Verizon Wireless, which will be accepting unused cell phones in the BCC lobby during pregame to donate to the company’s HopeLine. All donations will be turned into support for victims of domestic violence.
