NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware women’s basketball team has gotten involved with social networking sites to help fans and friends of the program to follow along with the team.
Available through www.bluehens.com/womens_baketball.html the team welcomes people to become a fan of University of Delaware women’s basketball on Facebook and encourages those on Twitter to follow head coach Tina Martin under the alias of UDCoachMartin. Buttons below the white box that profiles the main and most recent six stories on the women's basketball Web site direct visitors to the specific sites.
The team Facebook page is peppered with photos, videos and updates, while Martin frequently tweets about the status of her team.
