University of Delaware Offering Special Discounted Pro-Rated Season Tickets for Women’s Basketball

NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware has announced the availability of discounted pro-rated season tickets for this 2009-2010 women’s basketball season.

Fans have from now until this Tuesday, Dec. 22, to order this special ticket offer and get great seats for the final 11 women’s basketball home games of the season at the Bob Carpenter Center. Orders can be placed over the phone at 302-831-2257 or on-line by going to www.bluehens.com and clicking on the “Pro-Rated Season Tickets” icon on the right side of the page.

Ticket prices are $85 for all sections in the BCC and special discounts are available for Senior Citizens and Recent UD Alumni (2000-09) and for Family Four packs. Senior Citizen and Recent UD Alumni tickets are $81 (for seats in sections 5-6-9-10-15-16-19-20 only) and Family Four Packs (seating in sections 1-2-3-4 only) are $150.

Pro-rated courtside floor seating is also available for $300. This special seating is available to University of Delaware Athletic Fund (UDAF) members at the Coaches Circle Level and above.

The Blue Hens, led by freshman sensation and Naismith National Player of the Year candidate Elena Delle Donne, will take a four-game winning streak into their next home game Dec. 22 vs. the University at Buffalo. Former Ursuline Academy standout and George Washington transfer Kayla Miller will make her much-anticipated Delaware debut in that game.

Great games remain on the schedule, including the final non-league matchup of the season vs. Atlantic 10 contender Massachusetts on Dec. 30, a Jan. 3 game vs. CAA powerhouse Old Dominion, and matchup vs. rival and defending CAA champion Drexel on Jan. 17 at 2 p.m.

Other opponents remaining on the schedule are UNC Wilmington (Jan. 14), Towson (Jan. 28), William & Mary (Feb. 4), George Mason (Feb. 7), Georgia State (Feb. 14), Northeastern (Feb. 25), and Hofstra (Mar. 3).
