Former University of Delaware standout Jenn Boutin begins her third season with the University of Delaware women's rowing staff and head coach Laura Slice in 2009-10.
A native of Burke, VA (Lake Braddock High School), Boutin earned three letters during her career with the Blue Hens and was a key member of teams that won the Colonial Athletic Association unofficial team title in 2006 and was runner-up in both 2005 and 2007 under Slice.
Boutin was key member of Second Varsity Eights crew as a senior in 2007, helping lead the boat to a second place finish at the CAA/Kerr Cup Championships and a seventh place showing at the ECAC Metro Championships. She also led the Second Varsity Eights group to a second place finish at the CAA/Kerr Cup in both 2005 and 2006. As a freshman in 2004, her Second Novice Eights team placed fourth at the ECAC Metro Championships.
While at Lake Braddock High School, she was a three-year standout and two-year captain and led the team to the 2002 state semifinals.
She was an environmental science major at Delaware with minors in history, geology, and economics and graduated with honors in 2007.
